Turning Japanese

Never have I expected myself to get a haircut at EC House, today I finally stepped in for a trim of split ends.

You get this different kinda feeling from the usual hair salon. As I enter there was a unison of 'Konnichiwa!' And a machine that resembles the top-up machines at train stations, 10 bucks goes in and a card comes out. Present card to hair dresser, sit on chair and watch various trailers on personal tv for 15mins or so and its done! Vacuumed clean and you're good to go! A great place to go if you only have very little time and little hair to cut :)

Just caught Kelly Osbourne: Turning Japanese on #16. It's really funny watching how a westerner discover the bizarre and unknown society of Japan. She had to throw herself into a wide range of jobs and after-work activities, and struggles with the language barrier and homesickness.

After watching japan hour, japanese dramas, talkshows, etc. for years the things that were featured in the prog werent totally new to me but of course I got to see it more in-depth. For almost every epi we get to see how horny japanese really are! Really interesting prog, gives me more reason to cont making #16 my fav.

Now I wish I could just do the same as her but Turn Polynesian!
Wouldnt an adventure with the PVS be great?

For the past week I survived 4 reports, 1 presentation and 1 test. 3 more tests in the upcoming week, 4 projects and a quiz when school reopens after the christmas break. What a dreadful last semester I have.

Was in the mood to bake some cookies, made a trip down to the supermart with naa and saw so many nicely packaged food for kids which I really adore. haa! I'm still a kid at heart.

For one fine friday evening I finally became the stay-home girlfriend while nic does some bartendering work at zouk. Having been out almost every single friday throughout the year makes me feel kinda odd to be sitting at home with no plans. To top that off my folks went missing, great! the entire house is mine again.

Grabbed my dinner over mtv and happen to catch mtv's dose of reality, exit. Music videos and modern-day slavery aren't often associated together so I was kinda surprised to see lucy liu appearing on my screen who started talking about trafficking.

I think the issue here is not Singaporeans being trafficked but more like Singapore being a transit point or destination for victims. I would never think of any friends or relatives around me under any circumstances would be sent off to some foreign land as dosmetic workers or worse still, sex workers. We are all just too fortunate.

Watching this prog made me feel that being in Singapore we need to know our responsibility of whether such workers are actually victims of trafficking. I'm all for a more compassionate society :)

Assignments are piling up and somehow I'm still very insistent on getting work done only on weekdays cause weekends are simply meant for play. Good luck to me for the coming week.

Again I pray for big sun tmr cause I'm so fair now and my lomo havnt seen the light in a longgg while~

Simplicity, Chew on it.

I think I lead a simple life and I like it. I enjoy good food, good music and a good read, travel and shop whenever my cash flow allows me to. But what I really need right now is a whole lot of healthy living.

Comfy purple and yellow armchairs with full glass windows that offers an unobstructed view over the harbour, and the sea beyond. Good thing we came early, manage to get seats that allowed us to snap the setting sun.

Menu offers flavours from France, Italy and Japan. Thats almost all my favs!

Upcoming few weeks would be pack with tests and assignment submissions. More reason to pamper myself after all that :)

Cookies Dough Chips

First attempt of baking cookies with nic. Disaster in the making you thought, but I think it turned out pretty well. Not in cookie form but cake rather, whatever the case, it tasted good!

Forget Ben & Jerry's for awhile, I like Bud's now.
Think I first tried it in Sakae with the girls, now they have the upsized in Supermarts!

Saw a totally sweeet Lychee Vodka Bottle in Tangs Market. For Girls Only :)

Caught Enchanted over the weekends with the girls. Laughed alot, I think I almost snort *so unglam I know* Great to catch it with gfs for good laughs and some sing-a-long~

I'm back to the no off-day week again just to earn some extra holiday allowance,
I am gonna work my ass off.

Candleburn

A visit to the cleanroom on friday morning made me realise how many people couldnt turn up promptly for a 9am class, including myself. If it werent for the lecturer threatening to leave on time I bet none of us would have taken a cab down.

Was rather excited pear borrowed this film, sadly I fel asleep on and off for the first quarter. I wonder why does that always happen when I'm on her couch.

In all I like it still, tautou plays a young art student whos madly in love with a married cardiologist. I like how the film pauses and rewinds it back to the moment when she bought the pink rose. She did lotsa silly things that spooked him and was later diagnosed with erotomania, a mental disorder which causes the sufferer to believe themself to be involved in a non-existant romance. She was released after 5 years, but she never recovered.

Shortly after the film ended I received a call from Juan and I ended up in Minds Cafe after an hour. They decided to play monopoly, totally not my idea. And tee hee I won, again!

A little surprise from nic at Cappadocia Café Restaurant. I've never expected anything middle-eastern from him. So Turkish cuisine was a pleasant surprise!

It's a cosy restaurant with an informal seating style with sofas and cushions. Embroidered tablecloths, woven rugs and ornaments embellishing the surrounding walls accentuating the whole middle-eastern flavour.

To top it off the food was great, especially the lamb!

Where Dreams Are Real

I think I've always been leading a foodie's life. I eat and eat and seem to find so much pleasure in doing so. Be it fancy or casual dining or even hawker fare, I just can't get enough of it. Nowadays, I even try to cook whenever I can. Maybe I should just change this into a food blog like dab's. Snap lots and lots of pics before digging in, on second thought I don't quite like the idea of that too.

Out of 4 mondays since school started I've been accompanying nic to the Acer centre thrice. Not that I'm complaining, but seriously Acer service suck big time! Though I'm quite glad my heavyweight champion seem to be doing fine still.

We ended up in IMM and had Swensen's for lunch, my fav childhood eating place. Would always pester my parents to go there when I was younger. Now they even offer lunch sets, for the price of a main you get complimentary soup, drink and dessert! I thought that was a really good deal.

Went to Pear's place on wed to catch Brothers Grimm and to take a look at yy! That adorable little girl!

Met up with my girls on wed nite all prepared to hit Zouk. But dammit, never hit clubs on PH eve's. Queues are freaking long and people seem to be roaming everywhere till the wee hours of the night.

We didnt bothered to Q for Zouk so we added up in Mac and MOS instead. Freaked up place with bengs and some unknown mankinds. We did not do anything other than walking up and down looking for G and Co. Oh nvm, its gonna be a longgg time till I hit one again.

Oh ya, I tried to be Audrey Hepburn for the nite, the next time I do it again I would make sure I make an appointment to set my hair! Just for the fun of it.

Celebrated Cy's belated birthday on fri at Taman Jurong Food Centre. We had the very much missed bbq seafood! Plus beer, greatest combi! Made Cy choose his own bday cake is like 3 moms bringing little boy out on his bday!

Back to Pear's place for dvd session, watched Chuck and Larry and some Wang Fei Hong action.

Caught The Bee Movie on sat with nic, I like it! Been a long time since I had popcorn too. Took a bus down to East Coast Food Centre just to have some famous hawker fare. Worth it I say.

Sunday was spent pigging out again. Brunch at Margaret Drive where my mother ordered 30 guo ties! And we had to eat 10 each! Dad drove us to United Sq cause he wanted to see some stamp exhibition there, boring. We walked over to Novena Sq and Velocity. These 3 malls could possibly be the most boring malls within town's proximity in sg.

More hawker fare at Alexandra Market where I gave my extended family a little seafood treat.

It's been more than a week since I last updated and there can only be one reason for it, my lazy bones :)

Have been busy with assignments, presentations, catching up, chilling out and having fun. Sometimes I think I spoil myself too much.

Met up with KCK last thursday and gonna meet em again this for Deepavali celebration @ kalai's place. Caught up with each other's lifes over dinner at Crystal Jade with plenty of xiao long baos and sugar rush! Followed by board-game session at Settlers. It's good to go on a thursday night, happens to be their Ladies Nite, 6 bucks for all ladies with free flow of drinks! We had so much fun at Snorta, that silly animal game that can send almost anyone laughing hard.

Headed down to Bras Basah on friday evening to check out some lomo cams and books. Have always enjoy going there; browsing at Swee Lee, flipping through books at the so many so many book stores and of course there's Art Friend!

Was reading this book, Japanese Schoolgirl Inferno. Very interesting book, yet again reminds me of how much I appreciate their fashion and culture. Guess I just don't really have enough guts to follow their trends. Would I be Ms Luxury or Ms GothLoli? *Moi-même-Moitié*

Dinner with my dearest at Miss Clarity Cafe, good food with affordable pricing, i like!

Saturday nite out with my girls at Sushi Tei and Wala Wala! Miss em so, great to catch up over dinner in sushi tei's 2nd level which looks alot better than their 1st. We were good that night, hau had ginger ale and I had Cranberry juice, no booze~ Simply love the atmosphere at Wala on a saturday night. Dim lightings with The UnXpected playing good rock and alt music and some oldies, best part - us singing a long~

Monthly visit to my Orthodontist on monday, changed to thicker wire this time. Alot more painful but luckily the pain didnt stay for long.

Caught Ensemble, c'est tout with my girls on wednesday. Was nice and sweet, about these 4 people who learn each other's way, come to know one another, love one another and live under a single roof.

Its great to know that in such a cold hard world out there a simple greeting can always warm someone up. Of course starring Audrey Tautou, I guess I can say she's our fav french actress, cause we dont really know anymore? I like Philibert's character too, so timid and yet still emotional.

I want more international films!

Oh yeah and there was Halloween on wednesday, which we did not celebrate this year. But the trick or treating will go on!

Birthday surprise for ngiap on thursday, failed attempt but at least we tried.

I think its been more than 10 years since I last stepped into Jack's Place, so we decided to go there on friday evening. I think it's gonna be another 10 years or more before I step into one again.

Another birthday surprise for ngiap last evening, another failed attempt. boo hoo not that easy to surprise her I guess. We had fun still, having dinner at Brewerkz while watching Man U vs Arsenal at the same time followed by a round of The Simpsons monopoly at Minds Cafe. I prove to be the property bitch again this time. hee monopoly can be so much fun!

Class at 8am tmr, monday blues. Hope I can squeeze in an interview or 2 tmr, because I am outta job!

Joyeux Anniversaire!

Amidst all the project work and assignments in school, I made a special effort to make my mom a birthday dinner ytd! Cod, Salmon, Red Grouper fillets, baked potatoes, healthy vegs and a new pink salad I invented!

Think the meal and cake made mom really happy, a sincere meal cooked by her daughter, who wouldnt be?

Check out this vintage thermoflask Tangs was giving out on their D&D nite, I hardly see any of these nowadays to think Tangs could get someone to mass-produce this. cool.

Superbad!

Had a great weekend! Really prefer school alot more to work, niways had a nice chilling out session with the 01 girls on friday aft school before heading over to hau's place for some spongebob monopoly! I'm starting to believe in feng shui, hiak! Weenie Hut Jr's will forever be mine!

chats, junk food and monopoly made my friday evening! Cy came too and send us home aft, new car with gps! Something he really needs!

movie and dinner date with nic on saturday, went to catch Superbad! It was hilarious, should go catch it if you've got some spare time for some great laughs! Dinner @ Surf 'n' Turf! Good steaks and super yummy mozzarella sticks!

Sunday is best spent sleeping in, watching tv and doing random stuffs. Managed to list 4 of my bags on ebay too. Someone please buy em!

The Moon Represents My Heart

First lecture of retail management today, am interested in the module but not the person teaching it. Like what she calls herself, she's a bloody bitch. I'm sure none of us have a too good impression of her, not the likable kinda lecturer at all. Dreads, and it was the module I was looking forward to.

Took a break from the usual rock n roll and alternatives and ended up listening to Teresa Teng as well as other oldies the whole ride. Crazily giggling away and singing "jing tiannn bu hui jiaa~" Chinese oldies can be fun to sing-a-long to especially those super famous ones that everyone knows.

Looking forward to seeing my girls tmr, Spongebob Monopoly!!

Stories of Love. From the City of Love.

Life's been good since school started, but I'm quite sure it's only for this 1st week.
I'm trying to make the best outta it!

Heritage tour of Chinatown on monday with the 02girls! It was really fun, gave the usual shopping hang outs a miss and ended up squeezing through the streets of Chinatown checking out stuffs, pretending to be tourists and munching non-stop on street food!

Sab and baoyu also brought us to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum. It was quite an eye opener, background of the religion as well as the amount of gold thats contain in the entire temple. The architecture's so beautiful, its interior and statuary seem like they were all inspired by the Tang Dynasty. We were also rather lucky to be there at the right time where they would open up Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic Stupa Curtain at certain time of the day. We went to the rooftop garden, spin the bell thrice and made our wishes too.

Dinner @ Maxwell Food Centre, can't seem to find cj's family curry rice stall but we ordered lotsa other stuffs. Super filling dinner!

Ytd's dinner was even better! Went to Waffletown with nic, good steak and crispy waffles with double scoop ice cream! Yum!

And I was thinking the whole day why must we have dinner in Newton? We can have dinner anywhere what.. then after dinner I thought we were heading back to the train station but he dragged me into this colourful building that says Alliance Francaise de Singapour! Paris, je t'aime was screening in Cine Club!

18 short films, all meanigful in one way or another. Tour Eiffel was one of our favs, the little boy in there was just too adorable! Most of em made me laugh, none made me cry. Peeps reading, go rent the dvd you will enjoy it!

Creepy crawlies were over LT59 this morning, brrr giving me the goosebumps now, I bet leen's feeling worse.

Went shopping with my 01girls today! Yipyip shopping always makes us so happy! Back to the very much missed wanton place for lunch followed by shopping the rest of our day away. Got our back-to-school-basics and alot of other barangs!

Hasta la vista!

The last time I said that was 7 weeks ago, and now I'm back! Todays the first day of my last semester in school, bittersweeet feeling. It was really great to see everyone but yet you can't help but think this is probably the last sem you gonna see these people again on a regular basis. Gonna miss em :)

On a lighter note, where did I really disappeared to for this 7weeks? Well.. I spent 3.5weeks as an intern or "acting" Engineer/FO in Changi Airport Terminal 1 and stayed over at Chris' place from every mon-fri for that 3.5weeks.

Cause I live in the happy suburbs of Singapore, like what hau calls it, which is actually Jurong. So I'm very thankful to be living in Chris' place temporarily which is only 10mins away from the airport, even more thankful when she's got nothing to do all day but to prepare all my meals and do all my laundry. I really feel bad in some kinda way, but oh well I help too.. sometimes.

Life's good there, alot to learn but very draining at times hence I try to stay away from my laptop at all cost when I reach home in the evening. I don't wanna be facing another screen other than the tv or my cell.

And when I realised most of my other classmates are feeling this way too I can't help but laugh. Suddenly everyone is sleeping before 11pm, life's screwed when you become a dedicated working adult.

So I thought I was gonna be at Terminal 1 till the 7th week but wa la~ they decided to transfer me to the HQ which is at Bk Merah for the remaining 3.5weeks. Yipyip! Moved back to my own sweet suburbs! And life suddenly becomes even better, my dad happens to work somewhere near the area and I got free rides every single morning! yayness! No more crazy morning crowds in e train!

But it was the work over in the HQ that drove me insane on some days. Always seem like there are endless contracts and tenders to go through, auditting, editting. And when your pile finishes, a new pile never fails to pile up again! And then Post-its became my new best friend. Managed to finish 3 regular pads of it in 3weeks. Tell me I'm not addicted!

So the entire 7 weeks holiday went pass like this. Great thing is I still managed to meet a few diff group of friends, chill out and still have some fun! Lifes never that bad.

Think I pampered myself with lotsa good food over the weeks too. On an average of hitting some place good once-twice and sometimes even thrice a week. Good food always perks me up! And so does shopping!

I am so hoping to have a blast in this final sem!

Simple pleasures in life

I thought I would start earlier for the coming bmd pp but I didnt. Procrastination at its best! Finally I decided to be good and start today, really sat down to revise and hoping to get the same grades as e previous pp. *crossing fingers* More to be done tmr.

when I got really sick of my books, I grabbed some honey stars and sat infront of the telly. I cant believe how good I felt aft tt! Sometimes its e little things like honey stars and channel hopping on cable that can be a pleasure~

watching Into Alaska with Jeff Corwin really made me wanna leave sg and just stay in Alaska for awhile. Kayaking in the ice waters just beside a glacier, go fishing, seeing animals that are near extinction, enjoy breathtaking views and have salmon all day long! smoked, baked, grilled, raw, whichever!

how I wish I was a travel journalist or best still photographer/videographer whatever.. that will allow me to see the world, get in touch with different cultures, go really up close to safari animals, visit all the awesome world class dive sites, stay in luxurious hotel and enjoy sumptuous food!

SAM was over on tuesday, I'm 1/2 way there just one more BMD pp and I'm done! Not exactly in the mood to start yet, things do get into the head better under pressure!

Craving fish&chips, ended up in Fishermen's Wharf. Eat it while its hot, with malt vinegar! I like it that way :)

Met up with my girls today @ The Cheese Prata Shop! I didnt had any prata cos I woke up really late but I managed to have some nasi lemak though. Lunch was secondary, it felt good to be there just being able to listen to what they had to say.

Somehow through all those listening, I saw the need to treat my love ones even better.

For once my group was actually on time for our weekly friday morning meetings with Mr Lai. Project 1 interview time, as usual I always need the goddamn toilet before something important like this. What to do, TAHAN! I think it went alright, not impressive but at least I tried.

Decided to have lunch at Fre(n)sh cause the night before I just read good reviews bout em.

Fresh & French!

Read that they have the best hot chocolate in sg and even beat the one over at Corduroy hands down! I like that its more bitter than sweet, not really a choco fan but definitely one of e best hot cocoa I've tasted.

What I thought was best is their Smoked Salmon Tartine and their Creme Brulee. Their Creme Brulee is served cold unlike most places that serves it hot. Smooth custard and a very crisp layer of caramel done just well! The tiramisu was great too, for the price we're paying they're really generous with the amount of alcohol content.

Fre(n)sh is a really good place to dine in. Simple and cosy, sitting on high chairs, having a view of sentosa, great service and best of all, tax free!

Saw this at Daiso! Mola Mola stickers! I really wanna see the real thing, looks like the hunt for the oceanic sunfish shall continue next year!

Met the girls for 881 after lunch. Great show! Some really funny parts, very local and alot of hokkien! A little whimsical as they added some bits of "xian gu" the end was abit draggy when xiao mu gua was on her dying bed, but still a good show. Plus may and choy look hot in their flamboyant teeny weeny outfits!

Off to HV for Cold Rock! Our first time trying this mashed up ice cream from aussie. Somehow made us very excited like little kids when we were deciding our flavours and fillings. Its like personalised ice cream! Funny em decided to open right opp Haagen Dazs.

I chose aussie vanilla and peanut butter ice cream + rocky road! haa! rocky road gives you the best deal, with marshmallows, chocolate, gummies in it! gummies taste extra chewy when its cooold!

we cont eating.. and eating.. katong laksa followed by rojak. Great friday night! w/o booze just alot of food and talk! i like!

Just had take-away hokkien prawn mee, chicken wings and popiah from food republic and still cant get myself to start on sam, things do get into the head better under pressure right?

Happy National Day!

Its been ages since I last blogged! Too lazzzy~ The past week have been rather eventful, theres nic's 19th bday celebration, phuture with the girls & boys, cable skiing with the bestest travel khakis, having a cookout and dvd sessions!

right smack 9am on his bday morning we had our last hrf test. yippie i o! 1 module down! guess all the studying got to his head and all he wanted was a casual birthday celebration.

So no fancy evening, no excuse for me to dress up but the day was still great! We caught Knocked Out and laughed our hearts out, sat down for a good meal and just talk the night away. Sometimes nothing fancy is actually good!

Phuture on friday nite, cy and me headed home @ 2! Earliest ever! Sometimes I wish our friday nights would be like how it was before, more food and talk and doing what we love most, SHOP! Even if its just window shopping, doing something a little more "healthy", lesser booze and late nights :)

Dragged myself outta bed at 730am on saturday morning. Off to the ferry terminal! We're going to batam! With emily, vernon, jw, jason and nic, all we're missing is dab n huisi! I cant wait till we all grad and go live onboard!! So very excited just thinking of it! Sleep, wake up, eat, dive, rest, dive again. And the cycle goes on for 7days where we visit different sites of thailand!

Had alot of fun, though didnt exactly accomplish much. The guys managed to do much more than em and me. We cant help but feel better when we see guys fall hard on their board. haa! evil us. Still it was good fun and hopefully we get to stand for 1 round the next time we go! Had our dinner @ Modesto's, great pizzas, okay pasta and very bad service.

National day is like family day~ well for me it was.

when ppl want xiao long bao, they think crystal jade or din tai fung today I found out that actually asian kitchen's one not that bad too. Its a little smaller but just right for a lady to put the whole bao into their mouth. Best way to eat a xiao long bao!

The past week has been 1 of my busiest school week ever! Filled with never ending assignments and projects and site visits.

Friday was the craziest! Meetings+Photo Taking+TTSH Site Visit+Napha all in one day!

Dead Beat! Met my girls + jolie for dinner at Pear's fav Veg hangout! Fako everything that taste almost real. Ended up in bugis junction where there was a Thai Fair going on, fancied a necklace and thought I should get it to reward myself aft such a long day. I did and I'm happy with that buy!

Down to waterfront on saturday evening to catch the NDP preview with my family. Big thanks to ilena for the tix! Really enjoyed the whole parade, the navy finally got showcased his year! My fav! Men out at sea! whoopie!

Met up with my girls+cy aft the parade for The Simpsons Movie! It's hilarious! Everyone who wants a good laugh should go watch it! Almost everyone was laughing at every other scene of the movie. Kudos to Matt Groening!

See our family. And feel better about yours.

Off to meet the girls and boys + nic and E2Max! Whole room was filled with laughter and max vol of Over the Hedge. Nic was presented with a surprise bday cake! Swensens Icecream cake! yum!

Home sweet Home and great sunday to be sleeping in! I havnt felt so rested in days! Have been sleeping at 3+ near 4 the last few days, today I got everything back!

3 more days and I'll be free, for awhile.

Handbags and Gladrags

One of my current fav slow song from Stereophonics. Which also happens to be an online store for gorgeous bags from leading UK designers. Speaking of handbags reminds me of the 'I'm Not A Plastic Bag' bag by Anya Hindmarch. Now that they're sprees going on, I bet alot of people are gonna be spotted carrying it. Infact I just saw a girl toting it in the library today. Just great! totally agree with pear. well at least I got to save those bucks!

a trip down to the lib, and 3 books home with me. Green is probably the only colour I see now when I'm doing my fyp.

I found it rather amusing when I know that nic actually doesnt have an account with the NLB. Is that even possible?! I thought every children who grew up in this generation would all have an NLB account. We might have misplaced the original library card but at least we have an account with them so that we can use our i/c or ez-link to borrow books. I'm proud to declare that I still have the very first card that I've been using since 13years ago!!

ytd we decided to empty bacon, it feeels sooo good! knowing that I've manage to save at least a significant amount! *give myself a pat on the back*

ITP allocation is out. And I'm going to Changi Airport. Bittersweet? Definitely.
Seems like a great oppurtunity but knowing that I would have to wake up at 6am every morning sounds rather sickening to me. Ideal place to be staying in would be chris' place!

Today we had a site visit to Fraser's Place. Great place to be living in, but not that a good place to be working in. Suites' rental goes up to 15K/mth. $$$

very yummy mini pizzas that we can't stop snacking on. Its never a good idea to put hungry people next to refreshments. Inside The Retreat room, there're even osim massage chairs and leg massagers. to me massagers are just very ticklish machines.

1/2 of us went to Central while the other 1/2 headed back to school.

Not the first time at Central, but certainly the first time walking pass Pasta de Waraku.

$4 for a dozen at Marcial Kobe! Its so easy to keep popping it into your mouth. A dozen is not enough! Tried every flavour and rainbows are still e best!

Received something sweet from leen. Flown-in I suppose? Its great to know that she still rmbs!

Dinner @ Fisherman's Wharf and off to do some shopping alone!

Sometimes its nice to shop alone, when you can have all the time in the world to slowly browse and pick what you want.

Rather draining week at school and an even busier week coming ahead. How I wish all these would end soon.

Its great to know that both my girls are interested in learning more bout kids who are emotionally and mentally diff from most kids. And even going to the extent of wanting to help em. Its great to know that there are still ppl with big hearts out there! If there's an opportunity I would very much wanna bring em along and doing something nice for the kids.

window shopping is hard but when I have already kept my debit cards at home, I know I safe!
I dont even rmb when was the last time I bought something nice for myself.

crystal jade with nic on wed evening, this time we didnt go ga-ga over e xiao long baos. Instead we went crazy over red bean pancakes! Dipping em in tons of sugar! The aftermath of sugar overdose was indeed hilarious!

Now we're missing this! Glucolin! Everyone pretty much took this when they were younger. We were laughing over how much we love it to the extend that we sneak into kitchens to have some of tt fine powder~ Its addicitve! Ever thought about why kids drink that? Look at the tin again.

Caught Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix with the girls on thurs. Wasnt as good as I expected it to be. I think ppl who hv read the book wld be disspointed.

Blu Jazzed with the boys and girls on sat evening. Grape shi sha! Work was frustrating, getting some smoke outta my nose seemed like good fun! Headed to Home Club aft tt, where we talked, popped tequillas and just laze ard on the comfy sofa. feeels good!

Brewerkz on sunday with the 8! Seems like we're doing this every month!

Washing down pizzas and burgers with good beer is always ever so satisfying! Our last meal with 50% was a good one! 2 starters, 8 mains and 3 desserts! Plus Golden Ale for everyone! Cheers to a simply hearty meal of good food and laughter!

Feeling a lil relaxed after the 2 presentations today. But the workload before me is simply pilling up. When you thought you had cleared some aldy, more of it starts coming to you. *jitters*

About LEED and all that, haa! then I rmb I'm going green for my FYP too! Nothing really seem to be too foreign to me when I was reading all that saving the earth stuffs.

I finally got my second bag of puzzle, bacons' 109 days old now! Saving aint really that hard, with determination and alot of encouragement, its possible!

Went to sentosa with nic on fri! We brought along 2 huge mats and listened to Nirvana under the sun! Sang along, sunbathed and pretty much just slacked the whole afternoon away! Life's good when you can hang out at the beach with good sun and nice waters and pizzas from Sarpinos!

So I missed Phuture on friday night cos I had to be at uncle paul's gathering. Saw his huge collection of very pretty fighting fishes! Sad news is the one at home is dead. x_x

Was super duper late for Margaret Drive's site visit on saturday morning and had the girls waiting for a longgg time. I ended up in Holland V. haa! dont wanna talk abt it, I'm just super bad with directions.

When I finally made it there I was really hungry and nobody walks out of there w/o getting their tummy filled. There's just sooo much good food in there! So we stuffed ourselves and even ta paoed some v yummy banana kueh home! Naa bought 9!

Caught Transformer's on saturday evening! COOL! We all loved it! A whole lot of action and of cos cars transforming into robots. This and Fantastic 4 are two of the few good movies I've seen in awhile. Really gets you on the edge of your seat!

Finally got back to work aft a month's break, was welcomed with 2 free drinks from Gloria Jeans. heh just so happened we were the store of the day! Mango smoothie for rina and berry smoothie for me! And a whole lotsa stuffs from chloe! It was a good day to be at work!

How time flies, its been a year that I've been working for them w/o hopping to another company! I think I'll take a break in aug again and then it'll be attachment for two months. Hopefully Mr Keow didnt get our hopes up for nothing, looking forward to a job that I can truly learn something from.

Drained from school, everyday is just so busy busy with this or that project.

I MISS MY GIRLS! But it's okay I'm gonna see them for meatballs tmr! Yippie!!

2 weeks of break have come to an end and I just wish I had more time to go out and have fun!

Over the last few days, I went to the gym and had a splashing good time in the waters minus the sun! And yet again I went to Malaysia on an impromptu day trip! This time we hit City Square and Tebrau City <--- BIGGEST shopping mall in Malaysia which was close to Vivocity, still I like Vivo more!

yummy food and local-like shops! And a tattoo shop in a mall like this. cool!

A to-die-for Monopoly set! Spongebob!
Most expensive property ends up to be the Krusty Krab Restaurant, should be good fun playing this game with a bunch of spongebob lovers!

Brought home with us a dozen dunkin' donuts! Love Krispy Kreme more, but dunkin' donuts will do. Certainly beats those that we have in SG now! Choco Pudding rocks!

Dinner @ Carnivore with hau and cy on sunday evening, lotsa eating and chatting for 2hrs! Variety of meat done and served brazilian way with a salad bar and choco fountain, whats there not to like?!

Sim, Por Favor! We made cy tried chicken heart, no biggy actually. Just a little salty and Q!

Met up with the girls + glenda on monday evening to celebrate hau's bday at Blu Jazz Too! Love that place, nicely done up with food that doesnt have GST! woo hoo!

Shopped around abit and I must admit the things they have in Haji Lane are really neat. Shopping there soon when I have extra ke-ching!

Off to Cafe Le Caire @ Al Majlis for some sheesha, we ordered apple and peach flavour only the apple one tasted decent. We kinda waste it and decide to sip tea and chew jelly beans instead!

Received something cheeky from leen today!

Got back our bmd pp and I'm glad I did well! I'm glad naa did well too! Hopefully it wld stay this way for all our other pps!

Met up with my fav 5A gang! the KCK! We ate and we talked and we laughed and we never wanna go home! And shared our love for xiao long baos!

One Long Break.

Lets see.. it's been close to 3 weeks since the last entry. I'm not really that busy probably just plain lazy to update every other day. Common tests are all over, in few days time I should be either mourning or rejoicing over the results of it. Lets hope for the later!

Had a great 20th birthday celebration too! Like what pear said "welcome to the club!" Gotta admit I feel kinda old seeing the big 2-0 as my age. And soon the next birthday would be our 21st and we would all be legally considered adults! Just thinking of that makes me a little queasy.

Good food, great pals and a whole lot of loving! What more could I wish for?
The birthday gift from the girls + cy was really unexpected, but certainly a GREAT surprise!

First time entering a gay club, not exactly a fantastic experience but still worth a try. Very sleazy place~ Not for the faint hearted or homophobics!

Had an appointment with my Orthodontist on monday and that was the start to my whole 2 years of torture. Looking forward to a beautiful smile after that! It costs 40bucks just to get one tooth extracted and I did 4! Pain in my mouth and the pocket! Everything's done now, and I smile violet! Tough week for a glutton like me when all I can eat was soft food.

Dinner at Brewerkz on thurs evening! Thanks to nic the bill went down to $180 from $360. Black bottom pie free! $180 for eight is a damn good deal! Fun bunch of ppl, more hangouts in future pls!

Headed down to Settlers on saturday night! Funny games, lotsa laughter and crazy drinks!

Bought my dad a fighting fish as a Father's day gift! Though guppies are his love, I thought getting something different would be good.

A breezy school week have came to an end and its time to start mugging during the weekends for next week's tests. Didnt do much this past week other than watching alot of films, pigging out and doing alot of thinking.

I had 5 films covered in 3days! Some new and some repeated, well mostly repeated actually. I think I'm becoming a fan of Audrey Tautou. And when CT ends I'm definitely gonna go rent Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain. Probably rent Paris, je t'aime if the dvd is released in stores already.

Yesterday's PPP module was quite a waste of time. Maybe because I've already know and learnt the things they're teaching in class so I ended up talking to rina most of the time.

Usual friday girl's night out minus hau cos she forgot she needed to work. We had dinner at Margaret Drive, didnt know where to go so we ended up in jp! Waited for cy then off to Chervons, where we wasted 3bucks on parking cos the one and only pool table wasnt working!

dont know whether anyone noticed, last night's moon was beautiful~

Ended up at West Coast Recreation centre and to our surprise cy didnt lose his way!

this is how happy one can get when they drive ard the whole night w/o losing their way. But last night was also the first time we had our safety belts tightly strapped! Sitting in jerky manual car is scarey!

*pst! managed to escape getting caught by fatimah too!

Off to The Cheese Prata Shop for supper! With double cheese prata and seafood cheese prata and mutton cheese roti john and milo dinosaurs ard, pear was disciplined enough to not pig out with us!

Last week was helluva hectic week! Finally submitted our SAM project, am glad its all done up and submitted now. It's kinda sad seeing how friendships get ruin due to projects but its always good to see how some people really are too. Well well, wouldnt care more because I know I've done my part and I can party my weekend away! Guilt-free~

Was in school till 8+ due to some last minute crazy-ass video editting. Had to rush home, get dressed and meet the girl at 930pm! In desperate need of extra time! But still I made it w/o looking too sloppy!

Were in DXO at first, drinks+crowd+music = bad place to hang out.
The only thing that amuses us is people watching which includes the crazy bangla who couldnt stop dancing like he was back in Bangladesh!

Down to Phuture! Trance floor in zouk turns me off. *giddy giddy*
So we dance the night away, while pear attempts to smoke the night away.
She was much nosier than usual too! Crazy girl! But we love her all the same!

Saturday was spent sleeping and getting hooked on #16! Fav channel of all time! Where I get my daily dose of the true blue travel and living.

Off to the theatres to catch POTC: At Worlds End with my girls + cy!

So quite a number of people hated the show I heard, how could they?!
I know some parts are draggy and dry but still can anyone hate johnny?!
Personally, I thought the show was good. With a good mix of comedy, action and drama + johnny! So whats there not to like? *scissorhands still rock more*

Hau's back from aussie, and the macadamia nuts she brought back were awesome! Pls get more the next time anybody goes there! Honeyed/salted/chillied/wasabied or not. It doesnt matter!

Les Miserables . Spiders . Beatles Unite .

School ended early for me today, had a budget lunch in school while the girls had pizza before crashing my place! Love having them over! where we can watch dvds, talk and just slack around and not move.

Caught Les Miserable today, now I really really really want them to bring the musical into sg again! We would surely get our ass to Esplanade to catch it! VIP seats no less!

Victor Hugo totally illustrates the redemptive power of forgiveness and the destructive consequences of self-hate. Geoffrey Rush was sooo good that it really made us hate him so much we're gonna boy-cott all of his films in future. We didnt know what was Javert's name, but as the credits roll we spotted Geoffrey Rush! Immediately CAPTAIN BARBOSSA came to our heads! okay so much for boy-cotting his films. No way we're gonna miss pirates!

Last week I caught 2 Spidey films, Spiderman 3 & Charlotte's Web. This week, something different! Into classics! Hau bought the tickets to A Midsummer Night's Dream! So very excited! We're gonna spread out our picnic blanket and have a picnic under the moonlight enjoying a shakespeare's creation!

I'm not someone whos very good at saving, but I finally reach my 100bucks mark ytd! For reward I got a puzzle! But.. only with every 100bucks that I hit than I get the next bag to complete the entire puzzle. The puzzle is seperated into many different packets I suppose. Nicholas Wong is an evil little thing! But then again, effort in motivating me is always very much appreciated! :)

This is all that I have now, I assume it's the base of a globe puzzle. Thanks to my girls, it was completed in 15mins! I think now my tweety looks scarey! But that seem to be the only support I can find at home. Pear and hau the stylists for my tweety decided to make it look this way now. Poor tweety~

Am too lazy to blog more, right now I just cant wait to finish my last year and get out of school, get out of sg! The nearest event to look forward to is mid summer's night dream and having a nice little picnic with my girls under the stars!

Finally managed to take the new Sentosa Express!

And caught Songs of the Sea too!

The lasers, musical fountain were pretty much still the same. The only thing I didnt see coming were the fireworks! Mini fireworks display towards the end, and they do it twice every evening. I wonder how much it would cost.

After a hectic week at school, I dont really have a choice but to go to work during the weekends. Need extra allowance for vacations!

Its nice to have company during lunch at work. Izzy told me how she got the job and how jwest came about. jwest sounds cool ya? Its actually a local brand whom boss started selling shoes from his flat in Jurong West, therefore the name jwest was born! Haa! She got the job cause she stays in jwest too!

I'm thinking of changing to a new working environment. Am mentally strained by a particular mentally-chanllenged person at work. I need a break!

Lazy Friday Night . Surprise Surprise!! . Beautiful Sunday .

Went to school for less than an hour on friday for fyp discussion with our advisor, think we need to re-think what would work better for us again. And hopefully get what we want when we hand in our synopsis next week.

Didnt know what to do around chinatown, so pear suggested playing pool and chilling at Les Chameaux. Change of plans when we saw a private function going on, wandered around and finally ended up at The Central with intentions of having Azabu Sabo's desserts!

So we ended up having these instead of ice cream.

Central does look pretty decent at night, when it isnt so glaring with bright lights and only have these neon lights. Our malls should start changing into something like this.

While pear and me were enjoying some breeze, hau on the other hand was trying to get us to move our butts and land it in Chevrons. Which was a failed attempt, because the two of us were simply too tired and badly need a rest and pamper ourselves!

Both of us ended up at home doing mask and having dessert, pear was lucky to have her mom's made-with-love dessert while I whipped out a bottled bird-nest. Loving the mask she intro-ed, Self-heating!! Woo hoo! Shall get another pack!

Only read a few chaps of my book before dozing off, it was indeed a very lazy friday night.

Back to work on Saturday. Surprise Surprise!! Izzy is working in Jwest! We're just seperated by I AM! We met in the toilet, Izzy was cleaning her hands while I was washing mine, then she shouted "JUNE!!!" haa gonna see her more often now! Tiff dropped by for a chat as well, miss working with her! Rina's visit was no surprise, but of cos I wouldnt mind any of it. Always nice talking to her! Having these people around made my saturday a better working day.

Sunday evening was spent as usual having dinner out with my family followed by grocery shopping for the coming week. Today dad decided to tune his radio to Gold 90.5 instead of the usual news radio and Daniel Boone's Beautiful Sunday was playing. To my surprise my parents started singing along to it. haa didnt know they actually love oldies. And when the chorus came, we were all singing outloud "Hi, hi, hi, beautiful sunday~" Then mom randomly/jokingly jumped to topic of wishing I'll move out soon, *wth* and I smugly told her hoho! I shall stay and irritate you for another 10years!

Bang Bang!! The Fashion Police!

So today we had an extra hour of break due to the forced-cancellation of our tutorial, and we decided to spent it in the lib. Sitting at their usual corner, rina started being the fashion police and was commenting on some of the people who walk passed that committed fashion crimes. Actually it's funny seeing how some people match their apparels, some really are wayyy off! I guess sometimes once in a while girls do take mental notes of such stuffs, no matter whether its pretty/ugly stuffs, we just cant help but take note of such details!

After the afternoon lect I thought I would be good on my way home then I saw a missed call from hau and ended up in town! The 2 shopping queens cldnt resist but to get little somethings for themselves. Me? None! yay! In self-control mode. Had jap food for late tea and headed home for dinner!

Redang redang! here we come~ this is so exciting! I cant wait! Something nearer to look forward to would be.. Phantom of the Opera! We're exactly a week away to catching it! yip yip!

The holis are over, and I'm missing every bit of it! More vacation please! So my blog was dead for the entire of last week while I was enjoying the very last week of my holis before I regret not doing so because for the next semestral break I would be having an attachment for 2 whole months! No holiday. Boo!

Last sunday night I left SG for Cherating, which was a totally impromptu decision! But equipped with the map of Pahang - Kuantan we were sure it doesnt matter where we go, as long as we have the map in hand. Just nice they had tickets at the time we reached Larkin Terminal, so Cherating it is!

Though we stayed in Cherating but we did covered other places as well, like Teluk Chempedak, Chendor, Kemaman, Geliga and Kuantan's town to eat and shop! Cherating is a good place for a getaway, but it can get rather boring at night, due to ZERO nightlife, actually there is if you count playing pool with a bunch of ang mohs in a pub thats blasting Madonna and having un-chilled Heineken.

Kampong Cherating!

All is still good, beacuse we managed to get a unit on the beach with a decent bath! Right smack on the beach! Once you step out of your mini bungalow all you see is sand and sea! And right behind us theres a seafood restaurant that operates till 2 in the morning!

Was abit disspointed though, due to bad weather on the first day we couldnt snorkel for the next few days! Waters wouldnt be clear enough to spot fishes. But surfing is still possible if you wake up at 7 in the morning!

When you decide to stay in Kampong area please do not be alarm if you see animals almost everywhere!

And one of the most important thing on a good trip is good food!

Too bad I didnt gain any weight during this trip!

For one of the nights we went to check out whether the turtles came up to the beach to lay eggs, the night before 2 appeared!

We also went to check out the Turtle Sanctuary beside Club Med who apparently have alot more information on turtles! They even show the 1st-8th week of a baby turtle's growth.

I was expecting an even fancier pool than this, so was abit dissapointed.

Why would they name their chalet Orang Utan? I bet even caucasians know what Orang Utan means.

On the way back, we hitch-hiked! First time doing that! Shall do that more often in future trips!

Though I didnt have as much activities as the past few trips, this trip was still as good or even better! Island getaway with sun, sand and sea with a special someone will never be a bad trip!

Reached SG on thursday morning desperately needing sleep but went for a jog with pear later in the evening. 1.6km! And off I go to Batam the next morning with Hau, Cy, Ml and a few others!

Fun but was left with aches all over the body at the end of the day, ferry back to SG and passed by Sentosa while cy and ml were trying to make out the buildings in sg. Short day trip but was still fun hope to go on more trips with em. Redang in May! Woohoo!

Aching all over and feeling like jelly on Saturday, nonetheless I went shopping and head down to Wala Wala aft that.

The UnXpected wasnt playing that night, and the band who replaced em suck! Hau's friends were there too so we joined them for awhile to see glenda getting drunk aft some beer. Rather funny sight actually! The shouting-over-the-phone conversation aft tt was even funnier!

Supper at Tong Shui Cafe, the promised mango pudding wasnt served!

Cy decided to drive and was kinda hooked onto speeding, bad idea boy! Was nice to have someone to send each of us home aft a late night.

Spent the last day of my holi slacking at home, wont have much chance to do that when school starts!

School reopening! Glad to see all of em but sad to know that we're no longer in the same class. Skipped a lecture and headed down to VivoCity with rina, ngiap and cher. Shopping Queens Unite! Shopped, ate and gossiped.

Off to meet my girls aft that for The Number 23. All I have to say is, Insane Number Obsession! Grabbed a bite at Orange Julius after the movie, missing their hotdogs!!

My first day of school went alright, hoping the rest of year 3 would be a good year since it's already the last year!

At last I found some time to blog, at work! Sunday mornings are a bore! Havnt been doing much this week except for working and staying home to rest, its been a really long time since I last had the entire house to myself. Sure feels good to just laze around and do nothing!

Time really flies! 2months worth of holidays is going to be over soon, and all I'm left with is one week! Need to get out of sg again!! Somewhere quiet, somewhere with a nice beach, somewhere with really cheap and good food!
Its funny how I'm leaving tonight and still having no idea where I'm heading, I guess this is where all the fun starts!

A Painful Birthday For Ms Pear!

I sure bet pear enjoyed the pain! Got herself another tattoo plus 2 piercings.
Sad to say, I had a rather painful day too. Was rushed to the hospital at 430am in the morning due to food poisoning and minor stomach infection, outpatient at 530am desperately needing sleep! Couldnt sleep the whole night, sooo miserable!

Was feeling better after resting the whole day and decided I was well enough to meet the girls for a simple dinner and to watch pear go through the pain once again. The lady at Exotic Tattoo was nice enough to give us some options for our previous not so nicely done tattoos.
Wasnt in any mood to shop at all, shall do it next week when I feel well enough to go crazy spree-ing! Blah! And I couldnt go partying in my current state while the girls head phuture, I shall stay clear of all alcohol and loud music till my system feels better!

Can't wait for next week to come~ If things go as planned I'll be off to somewhere (don't know where yet) for three days and come back to sg for a day and go cable-sking with hau on friday! Hopefully prawning or wala wala on saturday!

Lazy Weekend Afternoons & Spongebob Candies!

Saturday afternoons are at it's bestest when you get to wake up anytime you want and get to eat anything you want and then just watch cartoons or mtv on cable and rot the entire afternoon away~ I'm such a couch potato!

Met up with my girls last evening! Swimming plan in the day was cancelled due to waking up with a persistent irritating/infected left eye, plans of dinning out were also cancelled due to the heavy downpour. None the less I enjoyed a very simple evening of just food and chats. Sometimes things are better off simple.

Were talking about making our last year in school a more fulfilling one. Those girls say I'm hopeless at getting my ass moving. Well.. thats kinda true, but I guess I'll try! I went to work out with my dad this evening! A baby step, but still a step! My dad actually works out at least 3times a week, maybe I should just follow him. His like the dad w/o that disgusting old-uncle's belly and nice arms! lol But just abit nerdy/refined looking with his spects on.

Went back to work today wishing that I can actually be in bed. Late night chats are never good for you if you have to work at 10am in the morning and you slept at 5 the night before!

Had a really bad morning and I'm glad it stopped there or else I would be having a real bad day!

A very lazy sunday afternoon for chloe, fay and me. Fay's back to work during her Spring break! I guess we both really enjoy working with each other, though she's 3years younger we can never stop talking! It just goes on and on and on! Now that the net is back, woo hoo! We get to surf sites and talk MORE!

It's always cool to hear her talk about stuffs at school and her hearing me talk about my stuffs at school. Totally different culture! Her's is more like what we see on tv, read bout in books and mags. International School students do have cliques like the emo ones, nerdy brainy ones, hot and popular ones, blondes, asians, skaters, rockers, aspiring musicians and the list goes on.

And I realise when somebody like fay in this case speaks to me with an american accent, after awhile I would be speaking to her in a somewhat similar fashion. It's not that I'm trying to fake something out, I think it just comes rather naturally, like how poeple stay overseas for a really long time and get use to their native accent.

Definitely looking forward to her working with us again during her Summer break!

Marketplace have already started selling a huge variety of Easter goodies a few weeks ago, but I found something really cute today!

Joie de Vivre

My past few days at work had been a hectic one. Doing RSVP for the fashion show, changing boutique's layout and being involve in all the little things for the big day on thursday.

None the less I still managed to catch Stomp The Yard on wednesday evening with my girls! Kinda predictable storyline, battle moves were sweeet, dont really get the stepping part but I guess dance-theme based movies are always nice to watch.

Hau got us the very-much-missed orange chewies!
Really craving for them during the cny period, but managed to find it in some ulu mama shop in Malaysia last month during the Jeram Besu trip! That orange I had to share it with 5 other ppl! This orange shall be mine! Entirely Mine!

Head home early and managed to catch Spongebob on #32! My All-time fav cartoon on tv! Its been such a lonnng time since I last watched it. They should just keep showing it at 12am instead of 930pm!

Back to work on thursday!
Seriously speaking, I've never really been sooo frustrated with a person before, not to mention an OLDER person. Ain't older people suppose to have more experience and brains! Apparently not for the case of this new/rejected full-timer.
At age 25, I seriously wonder what have she been doing all her life! IQ not that fantastic but I sure know bout her EQ, zero! BIG FAT ZERO! She's really testing all our patience and before she knows it she wont even get the chance to say bye to us even if she wants to.

Niway the fashion show was quite a success, but sales arent! Where have all the customers go? Looking at G2000's business today, we're rather jealous that their fashion show did have an impact on their sales. But of course their prices are wayyy more affordable than ours.

Chloe and me stayed till late last night to tidy the entire boutique, I was so tired that once i stepped out of the shower and step into bed I fell right into sleep! Rest! I need rest!

Caught Mr. Bean's Holiday this evening, Cannes Cannes Cannes!! I wanna go there too~ As usual this funny old man still manages to make everyone laugh.

I don't know whats up with my msn messenger, must be down with some bug or something. Keeps sending weird myspace links to everyone on my list. I think my girls are having some sort of internet woes too. Pear seem to be having problems with her Internet Explorer or Blogger and hau's having problems with blogger too. But her's solved by changing to a new blog add without dashes ---. I wonder when will my msn be sane!

Home alone! Woke up at 230pm today feeling super rested! Went on to have brunch or rather tea, watched abit of cartoons before heading out for a manicure. Then left for town to meet mom for some shopping and dinner!

Bacon . Image Captor . To Kill A Mockingbird .

I know I'm a person who is very bad at saving, and most of my allowance goes to my shopping expenses for rather unnecessary stuffs like new clothes, new bags, new shoesss (you can never have too many pairs of shoes!), good food, occasional partying and travelling. Have been travelling quite abit and am planning to travel more. So one night I sat there thinking its time I start learning how to save! Better late than never!

Mom wasnt very supportive and instead she laughed at me commenting that it'll only last for 3days! Well, I'm proud to say that its been 4days already! And I'm saving 2bucks a day! So in a month I'm gonna have $60 and in 10 months I'm gonna have $600! That's if I'm very determined and consistent which I think I will be! Yes! Feeling very positive right now! So hopefully by feb next year I'll be richer!

Image Captors are such fun toys! Something so simple can actually keep you occupied for quite awhile! Its like an amazing little toy that contains hundreds or even thousands of safe pins that allow objects to push through and create designs. Really is great fun!

Knowing that I'm really keen on saving, Mr. Pin-face decides to lend a helping hand and gave me Bacon!

Bacon comes with a key too, so now everything that goes in will never come out till Mr. Pin-face thinks its time to get em out. I think its a rather good plan, at least now I know I wont be able to touch those money at all till its out and I'll probably do something sensible like deposit it all into my account.

Finished Confessions of a Shopaholic in 2days and was really hooked by Becky Bloomwood and her life so I thought I would get the next book in the series, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan. Unfortunately its all sold out in MPH, so I thought maybe I could get the 3rd book, Shopaholic Ties The Knot first. But now that I have it with me I feel that I must read the 2nd before I read the third! Story would flow better this way, so I went to get another book. A Harper Lee Classic, To Kill a Mockingbird. I hope this book would last me for a longer time.

But anyway I heard that the desktop would be back tmr~

Shoes Galore!

24 pairs of shoes worth $4326 were sent to us from nue today! They're sponsoring all the shoes for our SS 07 show! yipyip! having the same shoe sizes as most models, I manage to try a few pairs that I fancy!

I want those shoes~ Nue designs are so cute with those quirky insoles and pop art designs! But to say the truth I feel that not all those shoes are suitable for our clothes. But niway I bet Nixem will always figure out how to present em in the best way.

I rushed down to Woodlands straight after work on saturday evening to catch Cheng's guitar ensemble first ever grand concert! Seeing the time on my watch, I knew pear and me were gonna be late, so I suggested taking a cab! Damn! I didnt know RP is so damn near to the MRT station, the meter din even move at all! $2.50 + $2 Peak hr surchage, $4.50 was all I paid. Felt cheated? YES! Wassup with instituions and bad luck with cabs these days?

Niway, it was nice to see cheng again~ And him with his flute! Some familiar tunes throughout the night but I guess to me and pear no matter how many different variations of guitar sounds we get, nothing beats the sound of what an electric one produce!
ROCK ON MAN!!

I dont know how they choose their emcees cause one of em suck! big time! yuck! And pear went ga-ga over Julian, grab a hold of yourself girl! But indeed cheng's bro hv grown alot cuter since the last time we saw him.

Pear surprised me with 2rolls of Haribo knowing I love those candies, thanks girl!

Caught Primeval on dvd on this evening with my family. Quite a predictable monster-movie, nothing unusual, wasnt even too violent or bloody. Luckily didnt waste those bucks to catch it in the theatres.

Chatted with leen in the evening, can't wait to get ourselves pampered on saturday!!

Yusof Ishak House . 300 . LBBD .

I turned up at NUS's Yusof Ishak House's Cheers this afternoon to give my girl, pear a surprise! muahaha! it sure worked! seeing her jump *no wobbles!* and that shocked expression on her face screaming "what the hell are you doing here?!" Am glad a simple gesture like this actually made her day!

I didnt know how to get there so I thought the easiest way would be to take a cab. But unfortunately for me, the uncle doesnt know the way too.

Conversation went like this:

Me: Uncle, NUS Yusof Ishak House, Thank You.

Cab Driver: huh? I not too sure how to go. You tell me la okay.

Me: Errr.. Uncle I'm also not too sure how to go.

Cab Driver: Aiya! I know how to go Hon Sui Sen Library but dont know who is Yusof Ishak leh.

Me: His the first President.

Cab Driver: huh? who?

Me: His that face on our singapore notes!

Cab Driver: Dont know la.

Me: Uncle! You need to know who is that person inorder for you to know how to go izzit?!

*Awkward Silence*

Such a weird cabbie, but rather hilarious actually. Even if you know who Yusof Ishak is I bet you still wont know how to get there.

Had Subway's cold cut trio wrap for lunch. Am glad that I'm still sticking to my eating healthy plan. But having just veg n fruits is killing me so I guess a wrap with some turkey in it wont kill me. As long as I dont consume any fried/oily food, I'm save!

Pear's 1 hr lunch break flew pass quickly while we ate and chatted, and I'm off to catch 300!

It was indeed a brilliant epic adventure about passion, courage, freedom and sacrifice! Good plot, incredible battle strategies and amazing graphics! Not a show for the weak-hearted though. It was violent to the max! Alot of slow-motion head chopping and blood-splattering everywhere! Overall, I still think 300 is a must-watch!

After watching 300, the urge of getting into a fight was certainly there!
And so our pinky war started!

My eating healthy plan was totally ruin when dinner was decided to be spent at Crystal Jade!

There goes 3 days of eating healthy for nothing!

Currently the PC at my workplace is down, Ive been so bored I bought 3 magazines consecutively for 3 days!

Its burning a hole in my pocket! But yet I cant help it, I need something to keep me occupied!

Results out today! Brrr! Guess I did alright, mostly Bs though. Am looking forward to year3, and even looking forward more to a lonnng getaway after year3. I wonder how will life be after I graduate. Curious? Certainly.

Learnt to snack the healthy way, I've ditched my chips for Honeyed Macadamias instead. Eating healthy sure is torturous! Fruits and other various beans and nuts make good snacks too. The sight of the tub of ice cream and mochis in the freezer is killing me!!!

In need of some serious pampering to get pigging out outta my mind! Lets see, why am I doing this again? Its all thanks to those horrible ZITS that have decided to form a population on my forehead.

Eat Your Greens!

I've decided to go on a One-Week Cleansing and Detoxification Program! One day have passed, 6 more to go! I doubt I can last a week! With people tempting me to go for buffets and high teas, I think I might only last for 3 days. So from now on it shall only be cooked whole grains, steamed vegetables, raw vegetable salads, fruit, and juices without any sauces, dressings, butter, and oil. I think I did well today, green salad, fruits, sushis and water only, opted for healthier dressing. Green salad without any dressing is just BLEAH!

Now I just need to get my ass moving, I need motivation!
Crazy sponsored shopping spree anybody?

On the other hand, I'm really craving for the next sinful meal! This is torturing me! Blame the ZITS!

Malaysia, Truly Asia.

yes! im back from malaysia~ Very fun & fruitful trip! We managed to cover Jeram Besu, KL & Malacca in 4days! Trip filled with adventure, awesome outdoor sports, food, shopping, good laughs and endless crazy pillow talks is always a good trip!
We spent the night before at leen's place watching Apocalypto. The next 2days in the jungle of Jeram Besu totally reminds us of Jaguar Paw! leen's mom was really sweet to send us to school at 6am in the morning and to wake up even earlier to make breakfast for us! Thanks aunty!

Something important that i've learnt during this trip is do not ever attempt to act smart and kick a flying coconut! Consequences are deadly. This trip hv been so much fun with leen and the guys (oli, nic, cliff, stefan) ard, now shall we start planning for our grad trip? hee

Had a good rest on thurs night, caught Hannibal Rising on friday. Wasnt as good as i've expected it to be. Aft watching it, one wld just think that Lecter is aft all just another simple psychological case. But i believe theres more to it, aft watching Silence of the lamb and Red Dragon, i know theres definitely much more to it.

Saturday and sunday was spent at work. 2 very busy days! New stocks came, had to packed all the sales items and old stocks to be sent back to the warehse followed by changing the whole boutique layout again, inside-out! this is tiring work man! Why dont they just spend abit more to hire a VM?!

On saturday was the first time ever to see my bag's side pocket filled with candies!

POP POP POP!!!

Its been 2 whole months since I've last seen cheng, kok & kalai! Had lunch and dinner at 2 different Japanese Fast Food restaurants! No more mac! Burger have learned to eat e healthy way!

We passed by this popcorn machine, thought it looked really interesting and decided to pop 2bucks in to give it a try!

Fumbled like crazy cos we didnt read the instructions properly and was even afraid it wld start popping all over the place! rather fascinated by this tiny machine, but the caramel tasted more like mild honey. Not very tasty so cheng had to finish it cos the rest refuse to touch it aft 1 bite!

Went game hunting aft that where kok and cheng each bought a game. ahh... gamers!

Back to school at 10am this morning for the Jeram Besu Trip briefing! The tourguide came down to give us a detailed briefing on what we need to know and our itinerary.

Cave Exploration! 4-Wheel Drive! Picnic Lunch at Waterfall! Flying Fox! White Water Rafting!

Something unexpected is that we'll be spending our last night in KL and hitting KLCC & Megamall!!

Adventure + Buffet Meals + Shopping!!!

I predict this is gonna be a good trip! Best part is, I'm going with my classmates! Never tried going on a trip with em before, I certainly hope it'll turn out to be fun!

Will be crashing leen's crib on sunday night and off we go at 615am the next morning! Warning! leen's room wld prob be a flop aft tt.

My past 3 days were spent working. Busy Busy Busy! Crazy madness on wednesday as its the last day of the American Express promotion. Shoppers come in hoping to get something nice for themselves. Sales was fantastic on that day! Good thing is I can bring more $ home, bad thing is I'm completely drained.

Thursday was spent dealing with all the new stocks in store. Too much stocks and too little staffs is never a good thing.

Today we tried something different! We had a taste of becoming our own VMs, redid the entire arrangement inside-out - our way! Glad it was aprroved, we did good! It was fun work actually. Steaming clothes, dressing manneqines, matching handbags, coordinating colours.

Miss Magiclean then became my best friend!
After we're done with the displays, we got down to wiping all the glass cubes and mirrors. They were so clear, a customer even walked into it and banged her head!

So much work done, a truly deserved break tomorrow!

A Piece of Blue Sky.

Met up with my girls + ml + xw for Shanghainese Dim Sum at Margaret Drive this evening. Yummy and cheap food as usual, 3bucks for all except for pear who didnt wanna share guo tie with us, NO POKK!!! So she only paid 2bucks and had a very filling dinner. Good dinner with dessert aft that. I guess for the coming month we'll all give eating lavishly a miss, trips coming up for hau and me and meagre allowance for pear. For now, it'll be cheap and good food! Occasional buffet & high tea, maybe.

After dinner, we took a stroll to ikea where the girls bought a weighing scale each! Motivation to work out and shed some pounds! I'm again very tempted to revamp my room, the same old familiar feeling I get everytime I step into ikea. It'll be like "ah! thats nice! how I wish I have that in my room!" One day, I shall! I'll start with painting my room first!

Was chatting about PsychMovies while waiting for the bus back home. Am currently searching for the movie Boys Don't Cry, a 1999 independent drama film on the real-life story of Brandon Teena, a young transgender man. I'm also looking for Primal Fear a 1996 motion picture starring Richard Gere who pear thinks cant act for nuts! Pear's looking for Girl, Interrupted. Have not read the book before but I've watch the film. Rather good screenplay actually and it managed to potray all these young women as young women in turmoil. Must watch! Another dvd I have with me now is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Dvd sessions anyone?

Back to work tmr, no more carefree lifestyle for me~

La vita e bella~

I'm back to work just like everyone else! Since its the holidays I've decided to work 5days a week, earn more bucks and be on my way to Phuket for the Songkran Festival in april! I'm so excited! Time for some good ole water splashing!!

When I first stepped into the boutique last friday after 2 weeks of not working, I was stunned for a moment to see 3 security cameras staring back at me.

Good news is we wont need to compensate/be wrongly accused for anything again if there happens to be another shoplifting case in future. It would be really stupid if a person tries to steal under 3 cameras. Bad news is WE ALL CANNOT EAT SNAKE ANYMORE! but hoho! there are always blind spots!!

Rushed home aft work on Saturday to lao yu sheng! Too bad I was working and couldnt join the rest of my family for Ren Ri dinner! My parents were v nice though, they bought another yu sheng home n waited for me to lao together!

Almost covered with crackers & peanuts! Abalone and fish hidden underneath!
My mom attempted something really funny, shredding the abalone so that they wld match all the shredded veg in the yu sheng. Who wld think of that?! She was still v proud of herself that she managed to think of such a "brilliant" idea. I actually prefer abalone sliced not shredded. Lost the Q-ness in it, luckily i stopped her in time and the rest can be sliced and enjoyed with my fish maw soup!

Sunday was spent working again, dad fetched me aft work and off we go to Uncle Paul's hse for another family gathering! Lotsa food & red wine! Ice Cream! My cousin happens to be a chef, very famous for his "sao rou" We had 5kg of it, and it wasnt enough, everybody wanted more!

When I reached, all these were the only ones left for me :(
heard my aunt saying my other cousins were even having a conspiracy in the kitchen trying to smuggle some sao rou to eat w/o the others knowing! It was that good!

Our "ice cream" jiejie bought us each a tub of Swensens!
Still rmb when we were younger she always buy ice cream for us, thats how she got her name. When we see her we'll start shouting ICE CREAM JIE JIE! last time ppl were only selling the potong or stick type. Now we get Swensens in tub~ Indeed times have changed.

sounds weird but its nice, plus its still during new year must eat some gai xin guo!

Finally an offday tmr, so looking forward to it! I get to rest and meet up with my girls in the evening!!

Drink, Drank, Drunk!

Yesterday I went shopping with Hau and went home with no buys!
No clothes, no shoes, no bags! No anything! I think i deserve a BIG pat on my back!

Had lunch at Fisherios, and somehow we were rather amused by the way they arranged their food.

I had Green Salad with 6pc Nuggets!
Because its still cny and supplier didnt supply Calamaris! :(

Bumped into cy with his sergeant at Pacific Plaza and we asked whether they wanna join our Girls Night Out, i later knew that cy was coming too when i was on my way to meet the girls. yay! so it's the girls + cy again! As well as his sergeant and friends.

We decided to check out DblO, free covers and free drinks for all ladies, shots included! awesome treat! Not that awesome for the guys though, we got warned that if we were seen giving the guys our drinks again all of us wld b thrown outta e club! So guys, get your own drinks!

It was shots aft drinks, drinks aft shots. Tequila pop and shots, Yummy Strawberry & Vanilla Cream Vodka Shots, Coke & Cranberry Vodka. I guess we gulped everything down too fast and i ended up running to e toilet 3 times to puke! Official Puke Machine! cos the girls cldnt do it as fast as me! not that this is something to be very proud of. Everybody puked, just a matter of who puked more. Everyone except pear, cos she just needs to burp! On second thought, Cy shd actually be the official puke machine for the night, he was almost choking on his own puke! A very wasted night indeed!

Cy became mahboh and the guys threw him all alone at the fountain across the road, we got worried and decided to check whether his okay, ended up seeing him rolling all over his own vomit. Not exactly a very pretty sight actually. *claps* for Ml! Brave enough to help clean cy up!

DblO closes at 2:245am but somehow we dragged till 4 before deciding that its time to head home. Cy's sergeant sent cy & me home first, while the rest head down to The Cheese Prata Stall. I miss that place! But was feeling really tired and having mom & dad stay up waiting for me to be home, i felt really bad and decided to get home asap.

A night of crazy drinking and serious aftermaths and the 1st ever cam-whoring session i had! My first ever clubbing session w/o spending a single cent too! Free Covers, Free Drinks, Free Ride! Well.. there's always a first time for everything right?

This afternoon, a very special someone was sweet enough to turn up at my doorstep with my fav Crystal Jade Polo Buns & ebi rice burger! Was rather lazy to get out of the hse aft such a late night out, but i made it to Jp's GV to catch Epic Movie. If you're expecting good storyline and all that, forget it. I paid 7bucks to go in and have a good laugh! And i did had a good laugh, thats all that matters!

There'll always be a rainbow after every heavy storm.

Switching Souls.

Met up with my girls today and got our tickets to The Phantom of the Opera! There goes part of our ang bao money, but on the plus side we get to catch this award-winning musical up close! Its all worth it! I certainly didnt expect the response to be THAT good, i know ppl will rush to buy and all but to the extent of almost no more good seats available is rather saddening, well lets just cross our fingers and hope that the view we get wld b good! Then at the end of the show we'll get to see pear do her thing that we didnt get to see today! hint *w*bbles!*

Thats $441 worth!

We caught Jack Neo's Just Follow Law too! Its hilarious and like most of his other movies, it contains something that most people can really relate to.
The ending was rather predictable as the story unfolds itself, but the soul switching part was something i didnt expect to see in a local movie, it just seem so 'Hollywood' like Hot Chick, Freaking Fridays and movies lk that. Was cool to see that it was shot in High-Definition video format too. Overall i think its a good show and i really didnt mind paying $9.50 for it!

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

The past 3days have been really fruitful for me! Chinese New Year would probably be all kids fav occassion, endless goodies, tv and most of all.. ANG BAOS! Who wldnt love cny!

On the Eve I woke up earlier than usual to help my mom prepare for our reunion lunch with my paternal side.

mom and me prepared this! So proud of ourselves! most wld know that my mom and i cant handle the kitchen, but we actually managed to whip out this spread!

Dad's relatives came over for lunch, didnt stayed for long and two of my cousins didnt even turn up. My parents werent too please with that, cmon reunion is like a once a year thing, anyone can make time for that right.

They left aft lunch, mom and me had to do their dishes, we were practically the "mariahs" for the day. Very unlikely for people to believe that I actually help ard the house, sad to say that is something that'll only happen once a year. hee!

we didnt have time to join my mom's side for dinner so we had our own steamboat at home!

Woke up early today to help dad change every single lightbulb at home.
Bright lights everywhere now!

Finally did some serious cny shopping today, sometimes it feels great to shop alone, esp when u know what u're looking for n town is packed lk crazy. u need not worry whether ur friends can catch up with u, as u can just squeeze through e crazy crowd in e fastest speed! Things get done v fast this way!

finally bought a new dress, a pair of new shoes, new bag for the 1st day of cny!
i guess one can nv hv too many pairs of shoes! finally a decent pair of peep-toes tt dosent look too weird on my feet! bought golden piglets nail art sticker too!

Festive Spirits & The Search For The Perfect Cheong Sam.

Went to chinatown today, can really feel the festive spirits down there!
bright colorful decorations, shouting vendors, most of all ppl everywhere!

Went through all the streets searching for e cheong sam that will fit me best, in the end i come to realise that theres no way i can find one and its too late to get it made to measure now. An adult's S is too big for me and the larger kids sizes are too short for me! well, looks like i have to be more prepared next yr if i really wanna find the perfect cheong sam!

Cny is getting nearer and i havnt really gotten anything yet. I need to get some serious cny shopping done and stop buying random beautifully things. Better luck tmr!!

Conquering The Wet Market & Saint Valentine's Day!

My mom asked me last night whether i could accompany her to the market today to get some cny stuffs, she was shocked i actually agreed without much persuassion. She was gleefully exclaiming "hoho! finally can make use of you to get some shopping done this year!" ask me go help her carry stuffs like coolie! Its for the family anyway, am glad i cld help! Its been like 11 years since i last stepped into a wet market? I almost forgot how well my mom can bargain!

And so i woke up to dad n mom's "GIRL AHHH WAKE UP!!!" this morning at 730am! Literally crawled out of bed and made my way to the bath rm. I dont know why i still bothered to take a shower knowing that im heading to a wet market and tt place stinks! No point getting a shower before going there, but i did anyway. Went out of the house in polo tee n boardshorts, without any makeup and rather messy hair looking very tired. Dragged myself to dad's car then decided to use his rear view mirror to tidy up my hair.

must really squeeze ard, the whole time when mom was buying her stuffs i was just standing behind the stalls with all e other uncles while they wait for their wives to get done with buying their stuffs n their job is just to carry it, tt was pretty much my job too.

we went home with almost 8 big bags each! and i got cutted by some stupid prawn who just refuses to get into the bag n had to poke its dead head out to see the world!!

reached home and started unpacking everything into seperate bags and tupperwares, even had to label em so that mom wont be confused, when we were done it was only 1130am! ard my usual waking up time, almost forgot how much you cld accomplished when u wake up reeeal early!

and i thought we were done, got dragged out to jp's fairprice for even more shopping!
went to Q for ba kua at bee cheng hiang first, Qs, Qs, Qs! I HATE Qs!
went home with another 6 bags each! we were lk wonder women!

aft all the shopping all i wanna do is to take an afternoon nap till dinner but hmm.. how can i forget its St. Valentine's Day!

So i got out at 4 and the rest of the evening pretty much just flew by without me knowing~

Dinner @ Pizzeria Giardino!

Pizzeria Giardino means pizza in the garden, ther serve wood-fired pizzas and great desserts alfresco style in Chijmes. Arranged in a symphonic semi-circle fashion, the outdoor pizzeria celebrates a carnival like feel with its open concept kitchen that showcases their age-old wood-fire stove and sparkling bar counters, all housed within a moderately large gazebo with a green striped tentage roof.

Very lovely place, and with early reservations comes good seats. The best seats infact i think, a table right under a lited tree, which happens to be the only lited tree ard.

Great Antipasti . Piping Hot Pizza . Dolce & Some Sweet Cocktails .

Its really nice to have dinner under the stars and facing the beautiful cathedral in Chijmes, we sat there for 3 whole hrs without even noticing time flew pass just like that.

What more can i ask for?
This is the best valentine's day ever~ i went home a really happy girl!
Hope everyone went home happy too!

dinner with my family followed by attemping to crash my GRC's event, they organized a free bbq with a HUGE screen airing live telecast of Singapore vs Thailand, wanted to go but was turned off by the amt of ah nehs i see! bleahs. i very much prefer to watch it at home on my comfy couch, had to forgo those yummy looking satays though!

Sea of Red . Kallang Waves . Left Mint-less .

yay! School's out! erm.. for now!
last day of the semester or rather my 2nd year ended yesterday, it wld actually be the holis aldy if not for the exams! study week right now, but i wld most prob be starting my engine on mon? since sat n sun is usually not an off day for me.

headed down to Kallang Stadium on Wednesday evening aft a crazy day of IBT test + IBS final presentation, we need a good break n a way to relax ourselves. PJM test was on thurday morning but seemed lk no one gave a damn.

the entire Kallang Stadium was filled! late-comers had to stand on the steps of e stairs to catch the entire match. its so nice to see almost everyone dressed in red! i was in red & white! National colors! The guys were all in red, bright red even!

it was fun! really fun to catch a live match in the stadium and with SOOO many singaporeans all ard you and doing the real kallang wave unlike those kallang waves i used to do in Jurong Stadium during our school's sports day! does really feels good to be home! and of cos we won!
oli tried to get us into trouble by shouting "LIVERPOOL SUCKS!!!" we were lk shit! everyone turned around n looked at us! some even shouted "HELL YEAH!" cliff was lk "YOU KNOW LIVERPOOL'S FANS MAJORITY ASIANS! AND SINGAPORE GOT ALOT! EH LATER YOU GO HOME YOURSELF LA! WE DONT KNOW YOU!"

crowd cleared rather fast, reached home at ard 1130pm, first thing came to my mind "SHIT... PJM" studied till i dozed off. woke up the following morning at 630am to revise for an hr before going for the test. lets cross fingers n hope i pass!

the rest of thu was spent workin on lad project, finally free from all assignments on friday~

was intending to meet my girls aft some shopping, ended up st SFIGATO's having Seafood Pizza and Angel's Hair with bacon in tomato sauce!

Back to school at 10am this morning for the Jeram Besu Trip briefing! The tourguide came down to give us a detailed briefing on what we need to know and our itinerary.

Cave Exploration! 4-Wheel Drive! Picnic Lunch at Waterfall! Flying Fox! White Water Rafting! Buffet Meals!

Something unexpected is that we'll be spending our last night in KL and hitting KLCC & Megamall!

My past 3 days were spent working. Busy Busy Busy! Crazy madness on wednesday as its the last day of the American Express promotion. Shoppers come in hoping to get something nice for themselves. Sales was fantastic on that day! Good thing is I can bring more $ home, bad thing is I'm completely drained.

Thurday was spent dealing with all the new stocks in stores. Too much stocks and too little staffs is never a good thing.

Today we tried something different! We had a taste of becoming our own VMs, redid the entire arrangement inside-out - our way! Glad it was aprroved, we did good! It was fun work actually. Steaming clothes, dressing manneqines, matching handbags, coordinating colours.

Miss Magiclean became my best friend today!
After we're done with the displays, we got down to wiping all the glass cubes and mirrors. They were so clear, a customer even walked into it and banged her head!

So much work done, a truly deserved break tmr!

El Laberinto del Fauno: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups

finally managed to catch it with my girls today! have been wanting to watch it since it's opening till now, just cldnt find the right time to do so. Im so glad i caught it before it closes i think this thursday? though we were 5mins late, bcos i overslept. hee sorry! but we still caught the best parts of the film.

It is indeed a very beautifully written peice of work, scenes of the post-Civil War were a little disturbing and at times brutal, but most wld get enchanted by the underworld kingdom. I guess most viewers wld end up wondering was the underworld kingdom a reality or was it just the imagination of a very scared and lonely little girl.

no doubt, two thumbs-up!

i shd be home today mugging for tmr's ibt test, and completing my ibs proj but was really too reluctant to start.
looks lk i have to.. soon!

Birthday Dinners filled weekend
& yet another awful week ahead.

I think i've slowly gotten use to being late for work, no matter what shift im in be it morning of afternoon, i'll still wake up late without fail, rush like crazy and den scram to work with being no doubt at least 10-15mins late. well.. at least my screwed management dont really give a damn bout me being late as long as i still work for 8hrs. so e most reach late go home later.

chloe got too bored at work and decided to shape my awful looking brows.

headed down to bee's party with ml, xw and hau after work.
we had abit of problem looking for her chalet at first due to our screwed alpbetical order, all was good after we found it.
with Singapore vs Malaysia on tv and a boiling steamboat infront of me and alot of bbq food being served, im a happy girl! we cant seem to get full so ended up eating for a very long time till we realised that bee's classmates were actually waiting for their turn. *whoops!*

Mr. Ho was really nice to send all of us home individually, esp when the chalet is at pasir ris and we all stay in jurong! its really nice to know that we do not have to take a train back, or else it'll be from one end till the other.
He scared all of us by almost knocking into a man, swore the whole car screamed tgt!
the red man was on, but doesnt seem lk tt ang moh cared, he still looked pretty calm actually.

so i slept late on saturday night and was late again on sunday morning. nothing unusual.
mom called to inform me of uncle paul's surprise bday dinner later on in e evening.
yay! more good food!

dinner was at Shen Ji Seafood garden, the one with the famous XO crab been hoon!
yum!

kat and xian both bought their other 1/2s along to meet uncle paul, i swore he was smiling from ear-to-ear, not a rare sight, cos sometimes his really grumpy. both 1/2s presented very nice gifts, one hamper and another gave something nice from burberry!

i do miss my family sundays ALOT! my whole family meets up almost every sunday without fail. but ever since i started working on weekends, i've been missin out alot. maybe i should stop working on weekends.. but that will mean less shopping and lesser trips. hmm.. needs more consideration.

niway mom went shopping with her sisters, and decided to stock up on origins as well as buying a new eyeliner for me.

i realised my freqeuncy of getting a new eyeliner is getting higher, i rmb buying a new one just not long ago, moreover ive cutted down on the amt that im using.

this week was one hell of a week! projects and assignments to be handed in one day after another! and i thought this week is bad enough, next week would be worse!

This week is probably going to be one of the busiest week of my entire term, just looking at my planner drives me crazy!

im guessing sleepless nights, puffy eyes as i prob wld b working on projects that has to be submitted every other day.

Lets see.. last night i was busy editting my report for cpm submission today, tonight im going to be preparing for my i&e presentation for tmr morning, tmr aft sch i'ld have to start working on my ibs project presentation on wed, just went i thought phew~ thu no project submission, a pjm quiz was thrown in, thu aft school back to working on pjm project to be submitted on friday as well as cpm presentation. well.. at least i thought i could rest during my weekends, but NO! my fen project submission due on sunday! nonetheless im still going to crash bee's party on sat n enjoy myself! c'mon i need a break!

next week aint any better for me.

Religious Friday Evenings Back!

a redundant day spent in school, was late fer fen lecture and thought tt at least can make it for ibt tutorial, din know it was cancelled, the rest of the tutorials aft lunch were just a bore. so i decided to skip everything and ended up not going for any classes but to head home.

went to meet pear at queens, shopped ard; nth much to buy except a pair of imitation anna sui studs. headed to anchorpoint for tea; tan yuan + carrot cake, and pear ended up with lotsa cakes, yam-pumpkin-carrot. abit full aft e late tea, den hau beeped aft her open hse, yay! dinner at pizza pazza! eat again! pizza + spinaci!

something new, something healthy, something nice.
something lk chinese dumplings just that this is italian.

Haagen-Dazs for dessert!
practically spent my entire evening munchin away, decided to walk to the mrt station instead of taking a bus, we need some exercise aft so much food!

a friday evening spent with good food and company!

Its like all i ever got to do was to watch their live concerts on dvds, vcds, mtv, youtube, seriously.. nth beats the real thing man!

joined by pear, nic, gab, izzy, san-mama, randy, faizal, we started Q-ing since 5 all the way till 7+, they finally decided to start at 835pm aft the chants of "WE WANT MUSE! WE WANT MUSE!"

Sleepless nights, Gotheborg, witnessing evolution.

seems like a really long time since i last blogged, the past week kinda screwed up my system.
last mon was spent watching OC the entire night till tue's class at 930am, dragged my ass outta bed just to go to school for a redudant hr? was later consoled by at least getting to board Gotheborg after many failed attempts, damn those private parties! but we're finally on it or rather in it!

i think its gonna be really cool if i get to be a crew in there, imagine living on a ship sailing across countries aft countries, i think i need some training, i shall start living onboard for a week the next time i go diving!

slept at 4am on tues cos mel decided to shut down on me, and ibs proj submission was on wed!
woke up with bad aches all over my body, headed home straight aft school and slept for a good 14hrs, i even missed dinner!

wed's evening was spent at Sakae Sushi, dad's early bday dinner!

when i'm the one treating you cant help but notice alot more red plates on the tables.
all's good! as long as the folks are happy!

was feeling really lethargic the entire fri afternoon, cant wait but to get out of school!
planned on skipping the rest of all my tutorials aft lunch but was somehow convinced to go in the end.

headed to town w leen aft tt, vowed not to spend but damn! how can i resist!

ended up going home with these, just look at the pull&bear basic, from 15.90 to 9.90 to 6.90!
why hesistate?! moreover im needing a white basic.
well.. im a pretty rational shopper okay!

pear joined us after that, n got her red watch! really good to hv some company on e trainride home!

another dreadful day at work on saturday, headed to peninsula plaza aft work to get pear her muse tee, din really fancy it so i guess i wont be wearin muse? Les Chameaux here i come~
walked in with pear all alone, feels great aint it? its like having ur own pub. cy brought his friends along too, with him ard plenty of laughter as usual.

indeed cy's growin up! becoming more man now!
instead of the ordering his usual fruit punch, he ended up downing a pint of Hoegaarden, a Tequila shot, a Flaming Bacardi 151 and later a stout!

woke up real early this morning to get my FYP registration done, rina & me ended up panicing over the phone, our school's system is really screwed! and i hate it! dragged for quite awhile before we cld actually start registering, niway alls done now, just need to cross our fingers n hope we get what we want!

woke up feeling glad that the sun's shining brightly out there! great for havin a picnic n some tanning!
woke up late, had to rush down to harbourfront interchange to meet my 01 girls + karin, and off we go to sentosa~

though the sun came n went, i had fun! its been some time since my last picnic, its always good to have some sun, sand, sea and... food! chilled the whole day away at siloso, was rather sad they have stopped renting out volleyballs, not that i play, but that 5bucks tag allows me to canoe too! also had a pretty interesting bus ride back to the city.

niway off to meet hau and was 45mins late! so sorry girl~
made a grand entrance at Les Chameaux, lucky there wasnt anyone ard except our dear pear standing inside the bar counter lookin all lonely. wanted to have some hokkien mee from liang kee, but they were too busy to take in ta pao orders. i was sooo hungry, practically went on an eating spree, went to 7-11 bought a burito, a cup of tong garden's crazy hotties, happily munching away while pear call for some chinese delivery! i ordered my hokkien mee + seafood tom yum soup! im such a glutton! cant help it! of course i manage to finish everything, am still rather hunrgy despite the whole afternoon of picnicing. =p

aft dinner the pub slowly became more crowded, all tables were occupied, and pear was the only one workin, hau n me helped her here n there, served n cleared tables, the pub was so busy she only went home at 5am this morning!

aft her shareholder came, we left, home sweet home!

woke up at 11am this morning, helped my mom prepare food for my grandparents anniversary, at 12 everyone came for lunch, chatted over lunch and all my dad's relatives left at 2. aunt mary decided to make special guest appearance, but she reach aft they left, too bad for her. chatted abit with her and off i went to meet hau for some crazy sprees~

setted out to buy only 1, ended up with 2 bcos the red 1 was on 50%!

i finally found time to get myself an organizer, had to make a decision btw this n the little mermaid one, but i simply cant resist seeing dear jack everyday. abit costly, but a good investment! its gonna last me for the entire year.

my best buy of the day:

black denim skirt from zara's trf collection!
e color in the first pic looks abit funny, bcos i flashed it, its actually black, and i really love the label!

its on sale! gave me yet another reason to buy it!

came home with some very interesting carriers as well.

dinner at Sakae sushi, pear was the monster for e evening, i guess when she's happy she eats alot too! had ice cream from Uzumaki for dessert! yummily good!

free organizer, hau said i didnt even had to get the nightmare one, but i really wldnt want to look at the lil green froggy everyday for a year.

again we combed practically all our fav malls in a day, and went home with happy buys,
total damage : $186.07 (inclusive of dinner)

yet another sum of depleted amt from my bank, but i went home a happier girl!

The 12th Day of Christmas.

1st week of e 2nd term ended, wee~ time flies.
got back all the test papers, cept fer ibs, am just glad that i passed all!

this term is gonna fly pass like crazy, with lotsa projects, assignments, tests, exams coming our way, soon it'll b the holis! a full 9 weeks coming my way!

didnt get to board Gotheborg today, last entry was at 5pm instead of the usual 10pm, some socialite's party going on, its rather cool to see ppl bothering to dress up in the same era just for the party! ended up in Coastes instead, sipping coastes' freeze and indulging in their ICB pizza!
taste really good with tiger prawns on tomato base and cheese, lotsa cheese! a definite plus wld have to be their brick oven pizza, simply reminds me of fat yogi's! missing tt place~

Happy 2007!

spent my 30th, 31st, 1st with my 5a peeps at costa sands!
great time catching up w all of em!
mahjong.. daidee.. blackjack.. snake & ladder.. aeroplane.. crazy drinking games...
its hilarious seeing everyone resorting to crazy antics in practically every game!
it was very fun though!

had steamboat and caught the fireworks at Nicholl Highway's bridge, it was the perfect location!
awesome display! we didnt even countdown.. we only started wishin everyone aft the whole display ended. it was indeed spectacular and lasted for a good 10mins.
sweeet!

2006 flew by just like that, looking back at it, woah it was quite a year for me.
many things happened btw family.. friends..
but.. all is good now!
looking forward to a better year ahead!

hoping to see more trips coming my way, more $, better grades! and more time to be spent w my love onessssss! my family n of course... not forgeting my girls!

The Sun Is Back!

Met up with leen for ibt project discussion ytd. Theres sooo much to do!
am just very glad that mrs eunice ng have decided to extend the dateline, or else we wld prob go crazy and wldnt be abe to enjoy our new year in peace.

Wanted to catch Night At The Museum at VivoCity, the queue was FREAKING INSANELY LONG! decided to try other cinemas in town, so happened that every slot is either selling fast or sold out in most cinemas, but eventually we settled for PS.
The show was hilarious! Had a few pretty good laughs in there!

a very pretty black eyeliner from Etude House & XXL size Mickey & Minnie Mouse chocolate biscuit sticks! yum! but not the right time to enjoy em now, still having sore throat.

woke up and called in sick today.
the weather is so fineee, i have to hit the pools!
its been a long time since ive done that, everyday have me raining and raining, finally the sun wants to show up!
i cldnt b bothered by my flu or blocked nose i went ahead and swim anyway!
i came up feeling much better.

down with flu + working = HELL!
i was practically staring at my watch the whole day, hoping that time would just fly pass without me knowing, and TA-DA! it wld be 930pm and i'll be on my way home.
but no such luck!

niway i saw Not So Raggedy Ane during work today.
toting a Chanel and walking in her Christian Louboutins, i well expected her to at least behave a lil more tai tai-ish, but instead all i saw was a woman with her gfs talking/gossiping loudly with lotsa big gestures and actions, totally forgetting that they were suppose to look or at least behave more refined. in my opinion, tai tai wannabes failed!

anyway, i think im just jealous. haha! cause, i cant get my hands on that lusted pair of Christian Louboutin Black Patent Cork Bruges Heels! and yes! i want that chanel too!
well.. i'll just have to work harder then.

work was horrible, my screwed management apparently dont happen to be a very understanding grp of ppl. it was only chloe and me working today, we both were busy serving customers, and they insisted that we send the stock that has to be transfered to Isetan immediately for their private sale tmr.

1. if u wanna transfer any stock you should have done that earlier, now those poor colleagues in isetan have to stay back aft work if they cant finish sorting out the stocks for the sale tmr.

2. since ure just so damn near to us, and hv aldy found a lot and have been waiting there fer some time, why cant u just get ur butt outta the car and come to the boutique to get it yourself?!

3. i wldnt be so pissed if u told us, "oh i'll come get it tmr then" when we told you we're still serving and wld prob have to make her wait a little longer. DUH! the sale starts tmr, if u wanna do it tmr, den dont fucking hurry us the whole day to get the stocks packed up neatly in boxes!

4. i hate it when they dont bother to spare a thought for us, they never do.

man! am i pissed!

the goddammit irritating neighbours whos living directly below us have came up to complain once again! gosh! i wonder whats their problem.
a pair of young married couples coming up banging on my front door telling my mom that we're very disturbing at night for the second time!
what time do they sleep i wonder, 8pm?!!!
they said we're always very noisy in the wee hours where ppl r aldy sleeping, usually my parents sleep at 11 and me at 1.
they wanna know whats noisy?! i'll tell em whats noisy!
i'll start blasting my hi-fi MAX with marilyn manson heavy stuffs tonight!

they even threatened my mom that they'll call the police if they find us unbearable again.

A Merry Ha-chooo Christmas!

Woke up on christmas eve morning with a bad sore throat, did spoil abit of my christmas mood though, just thinkin bout what are the food i shdnt be eating turns me off!
Christmas is the time to feast~ no excuses~

went to christina's hse to celebrate christmas with my whole family!
once i entered her apartment all i saw were presents, presents, and alot more presents!
and a wide spread of food~ buffet for us! yay! multiple servings please!

we have a celebration every year on christmas eve without fail because it happens to be jamie's birthday as well! lucky her! blessed with 2 gifts at one go every year!

wld b ideal to wake up later but wldnt wanna waste 1/2 my day sleeping away.

was watchin e news just nw, the rain happens to be one of the worst since 75 yrs ago.
damn.. the rain is really irritating, rather heavy at times too.
and bringin an umbrealla out is a hassle! esp when u go indoors n hv to put it into a plastic bag before dumpin it back into ur bag, sometimes my bag will still get wet! troublesome!

wrapped another 3 gifts today!
a lil token for kulai, cheng & kok!

it was good slackin at hm, been a longgg time since ive done tt.

my gums hv been hurtin alot lately, this tells me its time i pay the dentist a visit.
am rather embarass to say this, but i havnt visited a dentist since i left sec sch till nw. at least during primary and secondary school times, theres the school dentist who wld call u down fer regular check-up. but nw tt im in poly, somehow u just dont keep in mind that u actually do need to visit the dentist at least once a yr or better still once every 6months.

lucky the dentist said my teeth are still in good condition so all i needed was the regular scaling and polishing.
phew~ no need for any tooth extraction!
and yes! no tooth decay!

off for some crazy christmas shopping aft lunch!

pratically combed all my fav malls in a day!

from Vivo City to Ngee Ann City to Wisma Atria to Pacific Plaza to Far East Plaza to Isetan Scotts to Bugis Junction, and of cos the one nearest to home, Jurong Point!

i came home with bags and bags filled with gifts~

and a crazy stash of receipts as well.

when i reached home i was completely drenched from the rain, sat down clean my bags n gifts dry then hurried to the bathrm fer a hot shower!

once i came outta the shower, i started wrapping all 20gifts!
i finish em all in a night!

though all i bought were 2 sets of infant clothings from Takashimaya, the uncle gave me 7 rolls of wrapping pp!

the xmas deco upstairs looks really nice and warm, it looks lk some scene out of a christmas movie. Dim but yet warm lights, nice xmas tree w lights and prezzies all ard, wooden tables n comfy chairs, frosty windows <--- due to the rain and air con NOT snow! everything looks sooo christmasy~ but 2bucks extra if u seat upstairs, argh whatever! i'll make do with sitting downstairs, anyway i still get the beachy fishermen's vibe downthere.

Christmas is indeed bout giving and sharing, though what i saw at the end of the day was a depleted amount in my bank balance, but i felt uber good inside!

well.. i hope my family and friends wld all love their gifts!

went down to visit pear @ Les Chameaux on sat aft work.

Yet another school week have ended.
my entire week was filled with tests, assignments and projects submission.
how i dread school~

totally screwed mon's lad pp, goddamit! why cant he make it an open book test.
guess im asking fer too much, theres no way they're gonna allow a common test pp to be an open book test!
really hoping fer at least a pass?

today subra decided to hv another class test, which i dont really understand why..
didnt we just had our common test on mon?!

lighting assignment was aso to be in by today.
seems lk my whole week was revolving ard just one particular module - LAD!

i even went to Mt Faber Park on wed to get pics fer the assignment.
was a rather long way up, decided to be a "nature lover" and was determined to walk my way up but eventually i gave in to the temptation of the taxi.

cab drivers r evil.
i totally hate it when i board the cab too early or too late, when its going to pass or just went into the peak hrs.
darn! i hate it! hv to pay another 2bucks when its actually avoidable.

i also had my I&E booth outside the convention centre on tues, BIG THANKS to all my friends who hv supported n decided to part with their 2bucks for a tree wrapped by us! thanks again!!

was too busy to update for the past week. I feel as if my blog was left stagnant for a v long time.

for the past week i've been rather busy with our I&E proj. And the school's Estate Management Office is practically useless. Their system is flawed! screwed! and i hate it! my wasted time and endless trips down! but finally everything have been settled and finalized.

went down to Tanglin Trust School on tue after school to collect the tshirts Ms Sue Bebe sent us. Flown in from Bali we assume, cos we have no idea how it manage to get to sg from World Diving.

mola mola! the fish we so badly wanted to see, but didnt.
or let just say we've yet to see it.
definetly will go back one day just to catch a sight of the mola mola!

she only sent us 4shirts instead of 6, there were 3 size S and 1 XXL
thinkin tt 3 Size S would be fer the girls, when i opened it..

Tanglin Trust happens to be in some ulu-ated area of sg where nobody really goes except for all the caucasian kids. You'll be surprise to see how MANY caucasians there are all ard the school. They're practically everywhere!

Sue bebe told us to look for the Principal, Mr David Woods' secretary and she'll pass us the shirts, however we had a wee bit of problem, the security guards told us we need an appointment inorder to meet the secretary or whatsoever, i was like $^%$@#@!$%, i'm not gonna wait fer some bus fer 45mins just to get to Portsdown Road and wait fer another 45mins to get back to Buona Vista without getting my shirts! And bloody hell i wonder what the school has to hide, the actually have armed guards at the gates!! so very itimidating!

when we finally got to meet the secretary she was so blur! i intro-ed myself as June and told her tt sue bebe asked me to collect the shirts from her, and all she gave me was the lost look. like tell me whats going on.. NOW! when right on the desk, there it is.. a pile of shirts tied up tgt with a big bright green post-it written JUNE LOY. nw how blur can some ppl get.

went to NLB on thu fer IBT/FEN site visit! was kinda cool, we actually get to go to places where its restricted to most people.

Then mom called to say dad hv been admitted into the hospital, took a cab down immediately aft site visit hv ended. knowing that theres prob with his health, but lookin at him lying on the bed of a high dependency ward smiling at you, makes you think that everything is alright, but i know his just trying to stay positive and be strong fer all of us.

accompanied dad along with mom, aunt noreen n uncle paul till dinnertime. uncle paul was really sweet, he helped drive mom home and parked dad's car back into our carpark.

while i went to meet my grp mates to start wrapping our christmas hampers!

it was good fun though, tryin to wrap hampers in shape of christmas trees and santa claus.. and yes i know my santa is ugly! and oli just cant stop sampling e food. its like wrap wrap eat eat chomp chomp wrap.

went home aft prison break. am dead beat and very reluctant to wake up early fer CPM class the next morning.

was dreadin school the next day. am suppose to wake up at 730. but my 5mins and other 5mins more n just another 5 mins more resulted to waking up at 810. shucks! sure late fer 9am class! so i thought takin a cab down wld b good, but unfortunately i totally forgot tt peak hrs ends at 930, i happily boarded the cab at 9:29! goddamit!! i swear the uncle was smiling from ear to ear! 1 min cost me 2dollars more! my most "well-spent" 2dollars ever!

dad was discharge on fri afternoon, rang em up during my lunch break and am shock when i heard how much they paid. Just fer one night in the high dependency ward cost $2900!!! + medicine and miscellaneous fees. 3000+ gone. not to mention the day before, when dad parked his car in their patient's carpark, 13bucks was gone from his cashcard fer parkin fees. SGH IS A GODAMMIT MONEY SUCKING PLACE!

headed to escape theme park as they were having some 6 yrs anniversary promo and admission tix r just fer 6bucks! plus free ice cream n popcorn. not like the rides there r thrilling, just wen there fer the fun of it, havnt been to a theme park fer quite awhile. the guys q-ed fer lk 1/2hr just to get a thrill on the go kart. apparently it was all worth it fer em!

just like that my school week ended, and i really hv no idea why this week flew pass so quickly. i think fer the 2 more weeks to come, i wld feel the same too. never ending assignments and projs to be completed!

went to work today and met another new part timer, fay. erica introed her into our company. yet another student from an international school, cool kid though. its always so nice to talk to em!

Report Of Lost/Stolen Goods

On Saturday, 11/11/2006 was the first day when we first found out there were 2 missing peices from the boutique during the evening stock count.

The customer who we suspected have stolen those blouses was a Japanese Lady around her mid 20s. She entered the boutique at around 5+pm in the evening with her approx 5-yr-old son, at that point of time, Hana was already serving 2 customers, so Priscilla approached her asking whether she needed any help, but she didnt reply so we assumed she do not understand english.

She walked around the bouqitue twice, slowly taking her time, scrutinising the peices that she expresses interest in. Upon the second round, Priscilla approached her again, asking whether she would like to give them a try. This time she replied 'Okay'. She tried a number of peices, but only liked 3. By this time, I was already serving another customer who just came in. So we all had customers to attend to.

The Japanese Lady then express interest in buying and asked about the exchange rate. Priscilla wasnt vey sure how to check using the POS system, so i helped her. We all suspected it was at that point of time where she took the chance to steal those blouses. After knowing the exchange rate, she sort of complained that she didnt have enough money with her and would like to reserve those 3 peices and come back the next morning.

She left the boutique after confirming her reservation, Priscilla & me then left the boutique to pass the package to you at Swissotel. It was then that we saw her again in the Swissotel's lobby, looking like shes waiting for someone, but upon seeing us, she walked away. So we assumed she was kinda embarrassed to see us, because she tried quite a number of peices but didnt buy anything at all. Therefore, we left without putting too much thought into it.

During the 6pm stock count was when we realised that there were 2 missing peices from the shelves (Shelf E & F). Nova White Size 38 from Shelf E and Sauna White Size T2 from Shelf F. We then paniced and started to think how was it possible for them to go missing.

During the last stock count before closing, we were sure that indeed there were 2 missing peices. So Priscilla suggested that when I come in the monring shift the next day I should do a thorough stock count again, to make sure whether theres really 2 missing peices.

On sunday morning, I was alone in the morning shift. It was a busy morning, there were many customers who came window shopping, some tried a number of peices. I had to do morning cleaning as well, so the counting of stock in the morning was delayed till 1230pm where the afternoon shift colleagues came in. It was then that we realised another 2 peices went missing.
We started recalling past events and was very sure it has got something to do with the Japanese Lady.

She came in at around 11+am on Sunday morning, did her usual routine again. Walked around the boutique without talking, even when I approached her, she did not reply. She then picked out 2peices to try, so I took out her bag with the 3peices inside that was reserved the day before and asked whether she is still keen on trying, she said no.

When she was in the fitting room, a Caucasian Customer walked in and asked whether we have size 46s, after telling her that some designs do come in size 46, I then helped her picked up those designs thats still available in size46. She was very happy and started trying all of them, so I was busy attending to her and therefore somehow neglected the Japanese Lady. At that point of time, another customer came in, and I was attending to all 3 of them.

The Japanese Lady then returned me the 2 peices that she have tried and said no thank you and left the boutique. After all the customers have left, I started packing all the clothes thats lying around. The whole boutique was pretty messy. When everything is done, Priscilla have already arrived. So i started counting stock. And found out there were 2 missing peices. Nostradamus Black Size 38 from Shelf D and Nassau Grey Size 38 from Shelf F. Those were the peices that the Japanese Lady took out from the shelf to take a closer look at.

It was until during the 6pm stock count where Hana found out theres one more peice thats missing from the Japanese Lady's reservation bag, Nemesis White Size 38. So in total on sunday there were 3 peices that went missing.

We did notify Raffles City's Security after the afternoon's stock count where we found out theres 2 missing peices, they came down to ask questions and also to enquire the total cost of all the stolen goods. They advised us to make a police report, but unfortunately none of us manage to due to our working hours. However we did call the police, but they told us we had to go down to lodge the report personally. We also went to Swissotel to ask the staffs there whether they have notice this particular Japanese Lady, but they told us they couldnt help us as they're too many Japanese walking in and out everyday.

I do not think its very fair for us employees to bear the costs of the stolen goods, as it is not entirely our fault that clothes were to go missing. Moreover the situations on both days are not beyond our control. Its not that we do not want to pay more attention and be more alert, but when the bouqitue is filled with alot of customers, we'll all be very busy and its hard for to prevent a theif from stealing if she already has the intention of doing so.

I've also heard from the other colleagues that during past staff meetings, people have brought up issues regarding Security Measures or Precautions to be taken like installing sensor tags or CCTV. But unfortunately none of the security measures have been taken. Even the Raffles City's Security Department was shocked, their In-charge even questioned us "How can a boutique like yours selling such expensive items have no CCTV or sensor tags?!"

I understand that if the cash register is short of money, we will have to bear the cost and top up with our own money, because those mistakes are due to our own negligence. But when items are stolen, those situations are not beyond our control. Its also not stated in the Employment letter that employees should bear full responsibilty for lost/stolen items. So i sincerely hope the management would look into this matter seriously and give us all a better solution.

yay! its end of the school week once again!

day at school was fine, i swear subra is playin with us.
his tests always end up being open book aft talking bout hw serious n difficult its gonna be n how his not gonna give any chances at all, so therefore we wld all assume its gonna b close-book test.

i paniced lk shit cos i doze off while attempting to revise last night, waking up in a daze, missing 3/4 of my CPM class. tryin to squeeze in as much as i can n when i gt to class.. OPEN BOOK!

bad bad day at work.
apparently this particular shitty japanese woman stole 5pcs from the RC boutique, ytd and today and another 2 frm wisma atria's boutique last night, n still managed to gt away with it!
what can i say? shes damn skillful!

niway now everyone's just really worried bout the cost we have to bare, hopefully it isnt alot.
